Temporal Forces (SV05) released on March 22, 2024 as the fifth main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet Series. It is the set that brought ACE SPEC cards back: a class of Trainer cards first printed in 2012, now with its own magenta rarity, a one-per-deck limit, and the return of Master Ball alongside new Ancient and Future ACE SPECs. It also finishes the Paradox Pokémon trios from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. Walking Wake ex, Gouging Fire ex and Raging Bolt ex are the Ancient three; Iron Leaves ex, Iron Crown ex and Iron Boulder ex are the Future three, with Gouging Fire ex and Iron Boulder ex making their Pokémon TCG debut here. Koraidon's Primordial Beatdown scales with the Ancient Pokémon you have in play, and Miraidon's Peak Acceleration pulls Basic Energy from the deck onto your Future Pokémon. The official expansion page points at the illustration rares that show Pokémon together: Gastly leading a march of Ghost-type Pokémon through a dark city, Grotle strolling with Marill and Starly, Minccino and Cinccino tidying up, Susumu Maeya's Deerling and Sawsbuck changing with the seasons, and Metagross, Excadrill and Mudsdale helping people with their work.
This page is the reference list: every Temporal Forces card in set order, with the rarity names printed on the cards and used by most price trackers, the illustrator credit, and the card text. The other Scarlet & Violet era lists so far: Scarlet & Violet, Paldea Evolved, Obsidian Flames. For pull-rate math and buying advice on a hard set, our Pitch Black pull rates article covers that; the 30th Celebration guide is the friendly end of the scale.

Temporal Forces pull rates
Figures come from a marketplace sample of more than 8,000 booster packs published at release and two tracker odds tables that match it tier for tier (all named in our notes). They are community-tracked, rounded, and not official Pokémon numbers; a single box can land anywhere around them.
Rarity
Odds per pack
Notes
Double Rare
about 1 in 6 packs
Six per 36-pack box.
ACE SPEC Rare
about 1 in 20 packs
About two per box, in the first reverse-holo slot.
Ultra Rare
about 1 in 15 packs
Two or three per box.
Illustration Rare
about 1 in 13 packs
Two or three per box, for any of the 22.
Special Illustration Rare
about 1 in 86 packs
One in roughly two and a half boxes, for any of the ten SIRs.
Hyper Rare
about 1 in 139 packs
One gold in roughly four boxes, for any of the six.
The practical reading: the odds above are for any card of that tier. The odds of the one card you are chasing are those odds divided by the number of cards in the tier, which is why a specific Special Illustration Rare is usually cheaper to buy as a single than to open for.
These are the tighter years of the era. The three 2023 sets ran a Special Illustration Rare at about 1 in 32 packs and Paradox Rift at about 1 in 47; from Temporal Forces on it sits near 1 in 86, and the gold Hyper Rare moved from about 1 in 54 packs to 1 in 139 or longer, where it has stayed. The Mega Evolution Series is harder still; our Pitch Black article walks through that math.
The chase cards in Temporal Forces
Temporal Forces is an illustration rare set with a strong Paradox Pokémon top end. When this page was built, Market Insights ranked the Gastly illustration rare (177/162) by Mousho first in the set, above the Raging Bolt ex Special Illustration Rare (208/162) by Teeziro, with Susumu Maeya's Sawsbuck (166/162) third and the Gouging Fire ex (204/162) and Iron Crown ex (206/162) SIRs behind it. The full-art Gengar ex (193/162) is the rare Ultra Rare that ranks with the SIRs, Morty's Conviction (211/162) leads the Supporters, and Deerling, Litten, Cinccino and Metagross round out the illustration rares that outrank most of the golds. Hero's Cape, the ACE SPEC Trainer, ranks just outside the top ten.

Tracking Temporal Forces prices
We do not print prices in our guides because they go stale fast. TCGGuy Market Insights tracks every Temporal Forces sealed product nightly, with a set index, seven-day movers and each product's history, and the singles page ranks every card in the set by market value.
Bottom line: Temporal Forces is the set where the era's odds tightened, so it rewards collectors who want the ACE SPEC cards and the Paradox Pokémon lineup more than anyone chasing one gold. Its value sits in the illustration rares, Gastly and Sawsbuck above all, and in the six Paradox SIRs; a specific SIR at 1 in 86 packs for any of ten is a single to buy, not a box to open for.
Stock on a second-year set comes and goes, so the link above always shows what is buyable right now. If a product shows sold out, use Notify me on its page and we will email you when more arrives. To follow the market for every product in the release, sealed prices are tracked nightly on Market Insights (no login needed):
Set facts are from the official Pokémon TCG site's expansion and product pages. Pull rates are community-tracked figures, not official Pokémon numbers. Card text and illustrator data via TCGdex (MIT). Card images are the property of The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, and GAME FREAK and are shown for identification.
